XM Beta 25mg Tablet contains Metoprolol Succinate, a beta-1 selective blocker used primarily for:

Managing high blood pressure (hypertension)

Treating angina (chest pain)

Reducing the risk of heart attacks in certain patients

Managing heart failure and irregular heart rhythms (arrhythmias)
It works by slowing down the heart rate and reducing the heart’s workload, helping to maintain normal blood pressure and heart function.
Dosage & Administration:

The usual dose is 25mg once daily, as prescribed by a doctor.

Take with or immediately after food to improve absorption.

Swallow the tablet whole, do not crush or chew.

Dose adjustments may be required in patients with kidney or liver issues, or in the elderly.
