Clofranil 50 Tablet

Description

Clofranil 50 Tablet contains Clomipramine, a tricyclic antidepressant (TCA). It is primarily used in the treatment of depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), panic disorders, and phobias. It works by restoring the balance of certain natural chemicals (neurotransmitters such as serotonin) in the brain, which helps improve mood, reduce anxiety, and control unwanted repetitive thoughts and behaviors.

Uses:

• Treatment of depression

• Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)

• Panic attacks and phobias

• Chronic pain in some cases (off-label)

Dosage:

• Dosage should be taken exactly as prescribed by the doctor.

• Usually taken once or twice daily, with or without food.

• Do not stop suddenly without medical advice.

• Weight gain, increased appetite

• Blurred vision
