Fibator Tablet

Description

Fibator Tablet is a prescription combination lipid-lowering medicine containing Atorvastatin and Fenofibrate. It is used to manage high cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood. Atorvastatin belongs to statins, which reduce LDL cholesterol (“bad cholesterol”), while Fenofibrate helps reduce triglycerides and may modestly increase HDL cholesterol (“good cholesterol”). This combination helps lower the risk of cardiovascular diseases like heart attack and stroke.

Uses:

• Treatment of high LDL cholesterol and triglycerides

• Reducing total cholesterol and “bad” cholesterol levels

• Increasing “good” cholesterol (HDL)

• Prevention of cardiovascular events in high-risk patients

How to Use:

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor.

• Swallow the tablet whole with water, preferably after meals.

• Usually taken once daily, but follow the doctor’s instructions.

• Maintain a cholesterol-lowering diet and lifestyle alongside medication.

Precautions:

• Use only under medical supervision.

• Inform your doctor if you have liver, kidney, or gallbladder problems.

• Avoid alcohol as it can increase the risk of liver problems.

• Pregnant or breastfeeding women should not use this medicine.

• Report any unexplained muscle pain, weakness, or dark urine immediately.

• Muscle pain or weakness (myopathy)
