Description

Oxra S 5mg/100mg Tablet is a combination medicine containing Dapagliflozin (5mg) and Sitagliptin (100mg), prescribed for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. It helps in lowering blood glucose levels when lifestyle changes and single-drug therapy are not enough.

• Dapagliflozin is an SGLT2 inhibitor that helps the kidneys remove excess glucose from the blood through urine.

• Sitagliptin is a DPP-4 inhibitor that enhances incretin activity, leading to increased insulin release and decreased sugar production by the liver.

Together, they provide better blood sugar control and may also reduce risks of heart and kidney complications in diabetes.

Uses:

• Management of type 2 diabetes mellitus

• Helps in achieving better control of blood sugar when monotherapy is insufficient

• May reduce risk of cardiovascular and kidney-related complications in diabetic patients

How to Use:
