Description

Oxramet 5mg/1000mg Tablet IR is a combination medicine containing Dapagliflozin (5mg) and Metformin (1000mg), prescribed for the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus. It helps in lowering high blood sugar levels, especially in patients where diet, exercise, and single-drug therapy are insufficient.

• Dapagliflozin (SGLT2 inhibitor) works by removing excess glucose from the body through urine.

• Metformin (biguanide) decreases glucose production in the liver and improves the body’s response to insulin.

This combination helps achieve better blood sugar control, reduces the risk of diabetes-related complications, and may also support weight management and heart protection.
