Betnovate-GM Cream

Description

Uses:
Betnovate-GM Cream is used for:

• Inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, or psoriasis

• Bacterial skin infections

• Fungal skin infections

This combination contains:

• Betamethasone (0.1% w/w): corticosteroid that reduces inflammation and itching

• Gentamicin (0.1% w/w): antibiotic effective against bacterial infections

• Miconazole (2% w/w): antifungal that treats fungal infections

Dosage:

• Apply a thin layer to the affected area 1–2 times daily, or as prescribed.

• Duration depends on the condition; follow the doctor’s instructions.

How to Use:

• Clean and dry the affected area before application.

• Wash hands before and after applying the cream.

• Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.

Precautions:

• Do not use on large areas for prolonged periods.

• Avoid if you have viral skin infections unless prescribed.

• Inform your doctor if pregnant, breastfeeding, or using other topical medications.

• Not recommended for long-term use on thin or sensitive skin.

Side Effects:

• Mild burning, itching, or irritation at application site

• Rare: skin thinning, stretch marks, or allergic reactions

• Prolonged use may cause systemic absorption leading to steroid-related effects
