Ciplox-OZ Tablet is a broad-spectrum antibiotic used to treat bacterial and protozoal infections, particularly gastrointestinal infections, diarrhea, dysentery, and mixed bacterial infections. It combines:

Ciprofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that inhibits bacterial DNA replication

Ornidazole, an antiprotozoal agent effective against anaerobic bacteria and protozoa

Management of dysentery and other mixed bacterial/protozoal infections

Effective against susceptible strains of bacteria and protozoa
How it Works:

Ciprofloxacin interferes with bacterial DNA gyrase, preventing bacterial replication.

Ornidazole disrupts DNA of protozoa and anaerobic bacteria, leading to cell death.
Dosage:
Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually once or twice daily with water. Complete the full course even if symptoms improve.
