Diamox Tablet

Diamox Tablet contains Acetazolamide (250mg), a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor used to treat various conditions involving fluid buildup and pressure changes in the body. It is mainly prescribed for glaucoma, epilepsy, altitude sickness, and certain types of edema (fluid retention). It works by reducing the production of fluid in the eyes and kidneys, helping to lower pressure.

Uses:

• Glaucoma (reduces high eye pressure)

• Altitude sickness (prevents mountain sickness)

• Epilepsy (as an add-on treatment)

• Fluid retention (due to heart failure or certain conditions)

Dosage:

Dosage is determined by your doctor based on your medical condition. Usually taken 1 to 2 times daily, with or without food.

How to Use:

• Swallow the tablet whole with water.

• Take at the same time each day for best results.

• Do not stop taking suddenly without consulting your doctor.

Precautions:

• Inform your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems, electrolyte imbalance, or sulfa allergy.

• Stay well hydrated during treatment.

• Avoid alcohol and limit caffeine.
