Uses:

Treats herpes simplex eye infections

Used in herpetic keratitis (corneal infection)

Helps reduce redness, pain, irritation, and blurred vision

Prevents complications and promotes healing of the cornea
Dosage:

Usually applied 5 times a day or as directed by the eye specialist

Frequency reduces as the eye improves
-
Treatment may continue for a few days even after healing to prevent relapse
How to use:

Wash hands before and after using the eye drops
-
Tilt head back, pull lower eyelid, and instill prescribed drops

Do not touch dropper tip to eye or any surface
-
Close eyes gently for 1–2 minutes after application

Avoid wearing contact lenses during treatment

Avoid driving immediately after use (temporary blurred vision)
