Uses:

Treats high blood pressure (hypertension)

Helps protect kidneys in diabetic patients

Reduces risk of heart attack, stroke, and heart failure

Improves blood flow by relaxing blood vessels
Dosage:

Usually 20mg once daily

Dose may be adjusted based on BP control

Do not stop medication suddenly
How to use:

Take at the same time every day

Swallow whole with water; with or without food

Continue even if BP becomes normal

Monitor BP regularly
Precautions:

Not safe in pregnancy — avoid strictly

Tell doctor if you have kidney or liver problems

May cause dizziness — avoid driving initially

Avoid alcohol as it can drop BP further

Monitor potassium levels if advised (risk of high potassium)
