Arbitel-AM Tablet

Description

Uses:

• Treats high blood pressure (hypertension)

• Telmisartan relaxes blood vessels

• Amlodipine widens arteries and improves blood flow

• Helps prevent heart attack, stroke, and kidney damage

Dosage:

• Usually one tablet daily

• Dose may vary based on BP control

• Do not stop this medicine suddenly

How to use:

• Take every day at the same time

• Swallow whole with water, with or without food

• Continue even if BP becomes normal

• Monitor BP regularly

Precautions:

• Avoid in pregnancy (Telmisartan is unsafe)

• Tell doctor if you have kidney/liver issues or heart failure

• May cause dizziness — avoid driving initially

• Avoid alcohol (may lower BP too much)

• Amlodipine may cause ankle or feet swelling

• Potassium levels may rise — check if advised

Side effects:

• Dizziness, low BP

• Swelling of feet/ankles

• Headache

• Tiredness

• Flushing

• Stomach discomfort

• High potassium (rare)
