Arbitel-MT 25 Tablet ER

Description

Uses:

• Helps control high blood pressure (hypertension)

• Telmisartan relaxes blood vessels

• Metoprolol Succinate lowers heart rate and workload

• Reduces risk of heart attack, stroke, and heart failure

Dosage:

• Typically one tablet daily

• Dose frequency is decided by the doctor

• Must be taken regularly for stable BP control

How to use:

• Swallow whole; do not crush or chew (ER formulation)

• Take at the same time every day

• Can be taken with or without food

• Continue even if you feel well

Precautions:

• Avoid in pregnancy

• Use cautiously in asthma, COPD, slow heartbeat, or heart block

• May cause dizziness — avoid alcohol

• Monitor BP and heart rate regularly

• Inform doctor if you have kidney or liver problems

Side effects:

• Slow heartbeat

• Dizziness or tiredness

• Cold hands/feet

• Stomach discomfort

• Low blood pressure

• Sleep disturbances

• Shortness of breath (rare)
