Avas-EZ Tablet

Description

Uses:

• Reduces bad cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides (Atorvastatin + Ezetimibe)

• Increases good cholesterol (HDL)

• Helps prevent heart attack, stroke, and other cardiovascular complications

• Effective in patients not achieving target cholesterol with statin alone

Dosage:

• Usually one tablet daily, or as prescribed by the doctor

• Dose may be adjusted according to lipid profile

• Regular cholesterol monitoring recommended

How to use:

• Swallow the tablet whole with water

• Can be taken with or without food

• Take at the same time every day

• Continue even if cholesterol improves

Precautions:

• Avoid during pregnancy and breastfeeding

• Use cautiously in liver disease or heavy alcohol use

• Report muscle pain, weakness, or dark urine immediately

• Periodic liver function tests may be recommended

• Inform doctor about all other cholesterol-lowering medicines

Side effects:

• Muscle pain or cramps

• Headache

• Stomach discomfort, nausea

• Increased liver enzymes (rare)

• Fatigue

• Allergic reactions (rare)
