Uses:

Treats bacterial eye and ear infections

Effective for conjunctivitis, keratitis, and external ear infections

Belongs to the fluoroquinolone antibiotic class
Dosage:
-
Eye: Usually 1–2 drops into the affected eye every 2–4 hours initially, then reduce as symptoms improve
-
Ear: Usually 3–4 drops into the affected ear 3–4 times daily
-
Follow your doctor’s instructions for duration of therapy
How to use:

Wash hands before application

Tilt head or lie down as directed

Avoid touching dropper tip to eyes or ear to prevent contamination

Complete the full course even if symptoms improve
Precautions:

Avoid in pregnancy and breastfeeding unless prescribed

Discontinue if allergic reaction occurs

Do not use if solution is cloudy or discolored

Remove contact lenses before using eye drops

Inform doctor if you have a history of eye or ear surgery
Side effects:

Mild burning or stinging in eyes or ear
