Ciplox 500 Tablet

Description

Uses:

• Treats bacterial infections caused by susceptible bacteria

• Effective in urinary tract infections, respiratory infections, skin infections, and gastrointestinal infections

• Belongs to the fluoroquinolone antibiotic class

Dosage:

• Usually one tablet twice daily, or as prescribed by the doctor

• Dose depends on type and severity of infection

• Complete the full course even if symptoms improve

How to use:

• Swallow the tablet whole with water

• Can be taken with or without food

• Avoid dairy products or antacids within 2 hours of dose

• Take at evenly spaced intervals

Precautions:

• Avoid in pregnancy and breastfeeding unless prescribed

• Use cautiously in kidney disease

• May increase sensitivity to sunlight — avoid direct sun exposure

• Inform doctor if you have tendon disorders or heart rhythm problems

• Not recommended for children under 18 years (risk of joint issues)

Side effects:

• Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea

• Dizziness or headache

• Abdominal pain

• Increased sensitivity to sunlight
