Description

CTD-M 50mg/12.5mg Tablet is a combination of Metoprolol Succinate, a beta-blocker, and Chlorthalidone, a thiazide-like diuretic. It is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and manage fluid retention (edema). Metoprolol works by slowing the heart rate and reducing the heart’s workload, while Chlorthalidone helps remove excess fluid from the body, improving blood pressure control and reducing the risk of heart attack, stroke, and heart-related complications.

Dosage & How to Use:

• Typically taken once daily, with or without food.

• Swallow the tablet whole, do not crush or chew.

• Dosage may vary depending on the patient’s condition, age, and response. Follow the doctor’s instructions.

Precautions:

• Inform your doctor if you have heart failure, asthma, diabetes, kidney or liver disease, or electrolyte imbalance.

• Do not stop the medication suddenly; this may worsen heart problems.
