Description

CTD-T AM 12.5/40/5 Tablet is a triple combination medicine containing Telmisartan (an angiotensin II receptor blocker), Amlodipine (a calcium channel blocker), and Chlorthalidone (a thiazide-like diuretic). It is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and manage fluid retention (edema). This combination works by relaxing blood vessels, reducing excess fluid, and lowering the heart’s workload, providing effective blood pressure control and reducing the risk of heart attack, stroke, and kidney complications.

Dosage & How to Use:

• Usually taken once daily, with or without food.

• Swallow the tablet whole with water.

• Dosage may vary depending on the patient’s condition, age, and response. Follow the doctor’s instructions.

Precautions:

• Inform your doctor if you have kidney or liver disease, heart problems, diabetes, or electrolyte imbalance.

• Avoid excessive use of salt substitutes containing potassium.
