Description

Uses:
Azulix 2 MF Tablet PR is used for Type 2 diabetes mellitus. It contains:

• Glimepiride (2mg): boosts insulin release from the pancreas.

• Metformin (500mg): lowers sugar production in the liver and improves the body’s insulin response.

This combination helps maintain stable blood sugar when single therapy is inadequate.

Dosage:

• Usually 1 tablet once or twice daily, depending on doctor’s instructions.

• Always take with food to avoid stomach upset and low blood sugar.

How to Use:

• Swallow whole with water—do not break, crush, or chew (PR = prolonged release).

• Take at the same time daily for steady effect.

• Continue diet control and regular exercise.

Precautions:

• Regularly monitor blood sugar levels.

• Avoid alcohol to reduce risk of lactic acidosis (from Metformin) and hypoglycemia (from Glimepiride).

• Inform your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems.

• Use in pregnancy only under strict medical advice.
