Uses:
Betacard 50 Tablet is used for:

• High blood pressure (Hypertension)

• Angina (chest pain)

• Heart rhythm disorders

• Preventing heart attacks in certain patients

Atenolol is a beta-blocker that slows the heart rate and reduces the heart’s workload, helping to lower blood pressure and control heart rhythm.

Dosage:

• Usually 1 tablet once daily, or as prescribed by the doctor.

• Can be taken with or without food.

How to Use:

• Swallow the tablet whole with water.

• Take at the same time every day for consistent results.

• Do not stop taking suddenly without consulting your doctor.

Precautions:

• Monitor heart rate and blood pressure regularly.

• Inform your doctor if you have asthma, heart failure, or diabetes.

• Avoid abrupt discontinuation; can worsen heart conditions.

• Not recommended during pregnancy unless prescribed.

Side Effects:

• Fatigue, dizziness

• Slow heart rate (bradycardia)

• Cold hands and feet

• Nausea, diarrhea

• Rare: shortness of breath, swelling of feet
