Description

Uses:

• Helps control high blood sugar in Type 2 Diabetes

• Combination works by:

  • Metformin: reduces sugar production in the liver and improves insulin sensitivity

  • Teneligliptin: boosts insulin release after meals and lowers sugar levels

• Helps prevent long-term complications like kidney damage, nerve issues, and vision problems

• Suitable for patients not controlled with metformin alone

Dosage:

• Usually 1 tablet once daily or as advised by doctor

• PR = Prolonged Release, so medicine works slowly throughout the day

• Do not exceed the prescribed dose

• Continue regular check-ups for sugar monitoring

How to Use:

• Swallow whole with water; do not crush or chew (PR tablet)

• Take with food to reduce stomach upset

• Maintain proper diet, exercise, and weight control along with medication

Precautions:

• Not for Type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis

• Inform doctor if you have kidney, liver, or heart problems

• Avoid heavy alcohol intake (risk of lactic acidosis with metformin)
