Newtel-AM Tablet

Description

Uses:

• Treats high blood pressure (hypertension).

• Telmisartan relaxes blood vessels, while Amlodipine reduces vessel stiffness.

• Helps prevent heart attack, stroke, and complications related to high BP.

Dosage:

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor.

• Usually taken once daily.

• Can be taken with or without food.

How to Use:

• Swallow the tablet whole with water.

• Take at the same time daily.

• Do not crush or chew.

Precautions:

• Inform doctor if you have liver, kidney, or heart conditions.

• Avoid alcohol to prevent excessive BP lowering.

• Not recommended during pregnancy—consult your doctor.

• Monitor BP regularly.

• May cause swelling of legs (due to Amlodipine).

Side Effects:

• Dizziness or light-headedness

• Swelling in feet or ankles

• Low blood pressure

• Flushing

• Fatigue

• Rare: changes in kidney function or potassium levels
