Description

Uses:
Olmetime-AM 20 Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure), especially when a single medicine is not enough. Proper control of blood pressure helps prevent heart attack, stroke, and kidney damage.

How it Works:

• Olmesartan Medoxomil (ARB) blocks angiotensin II, relaxing blood vessels and lowering blood pressure.

• Amlodipine (calcium channel blocker) relaxes and widens blood vessels by reducing calcium entry into vascular smooth muscle.
  Together, they provide better and long-lasting blood pressure control.

Dosage:
Take the tablet as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily. Dose depends on your blood pressure response and overall health.

How to Use:
Swallow the tablet whole with water. It can be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time each day.

Precautions:

• Avoid use during pregnancy

• Use cautiously in patients with kidney disease, liver problems, or heart conditions

• Monitor blood pressure regularly

• Inform your doctor if you experience severe dizziness or swelling

Side Effects:
Common side effects include dizziness, headache, flushing, ankle swelling (edema), and fatigue. Most side effects are mild and improve with time. Consult your doctor if symptoms persist or worsen.
