Uses:
Olmetime-CT 40 Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure), particularly when blood pressure is not adequately controlled with a single medicine. Effective control reduces the risk of heart attack, stroke, and kidney damage.

How it Works:

Olmesartan Medoxomil is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels and lowers blood pressure.
Chlorthalidone is a long-acting diuretic that helps remove excess salt and water from the body, reducing blood volume and blood pressure.
Together, they provide sustained and effective blood pressure control.

Dosage:
Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily, preferably in the morning.

How to Use:
Swallow the tablet whole with water. It can be taken with or without food. Morning intake helps prevent frequent urination at night.

Precautions:

Do not use during pregnancy
Use cautiously in patients with kidney or liver disease, gout, or electrolyte imbalance
Maintain proper hydration
Regular monitoring of blood pressure, kidney function, and electrolytes is recommended

Side Effects:
Common side effects include dizziness, increased urination, weakness, headache, and low blood pressure. Rarely, dehydration or electrolyte imbalance may occur. Consult your doctor if side effects are severe or persistent.
