Uses:
Olkem 20H Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure), especially when a single medicine does not provide adequate control. Proper blood pressure management reduces the risk of heart attack, stroke, and kidney damage.

How it Works:

Olmesartan Medoxomil is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels and lowers blood pressure.
Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic (water pill) that helps remove excess salt and water from the body, reducing blood volume.
Together, they provide better blood pressure control.

Dosage:
Take the tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily, preferably in the morning.

How to Use:
Swallow the tablet whole with water. It can be taken with or without food. Morning use helps prevent frequent urination at night.

Precautions:

Avoid use during pregnancy
Use cautiously in patients with kidney disease, liver problems, gout, or electrolyte imbalance
Maintain adequate hydration
Regular monitoring of blood pressure, kidney function, and electrolytes is advised

Side Effects:
