Description

Uses:
Olkem-Beta 25 Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure), especially in patients who benefit from both blood vessel relaxation and heart rate control. Controlling blood pressure helps prevent heart attack, stroke, and kidney damage.

How it Works:

Olmesartan Medoxomil (ARB) relaxes blood vessels by blocking angiotensin II, lowering blood pressure.
Metoprolol Succinate (beta-blocker) reduces heart rate and the heart’s workload, helping to further lower blood pressure and protect the heart.
Together, they provide effective blood pressure control and cardiovascular protection.

Dosage:
Take the tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily. The dose may be adjusted based on blood pressure response and heart rate.

How to Use:
Swallow the tablet whole with water. It can be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time each day.

Precautions:

Avoid use during pregnancy
Use cautiously in patients with asthma, heart failure, kidney or liver disease, or slow heart rate
Do not abruptly stop the medicine without consulting your doctor
Regular monitoring of blood pressure and heart rate is recommended

Side Effects:
Common side effects include dizziness, fatigue, headache, slow heart rate, and low blood pressure. Severe side effects are rare but require immediate medical attention.
