Description
Uses:
Olkem-Beta 50 ER Tablet is prescribed for hypertension (high blood pressure), particularly in patients who need both blood vessel relaxation and heart rate control. Proper blood pressure management helps prevent heart attack, stroke, and kidney complications.
How it Works:
-
Olmesartan Medoxomil (ARB) relaxes blood vessels by blocking angiotensin II, reducing blood pressure.
-
Metoprolol Succinate (extended-release beta-blocker) slows heart rate and decreases the heart’s workload, further aiding blood pressure control and cardiovascular protection.
Together, they provide effective, long-acting blood pressure management.
Dosage:
Take the tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily. Dose adjustments depend on blood pressure and heart rate response.

Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not crush or chew. It can be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time each day.
