Uses:
Clopitab-CV 20 Capsule is prescribed for:

• Hypercholesterolemia (high cholesterol)

• Prevention of heart attack, stroke, and other cardiovascular events in high-risk patients

• Management of coronary artery disease
  It helps lower LDL cholesterol (bad cholesterol), reduce triglycerides, and prevent blood clot formation, thereby protecting the heart and arteries.

How it Works:

• Atorvastatin lowers cholesterol by inhibiting HMG-CoA reductase, preventing plaque buildup in arteries.

• Clopidogrel is an antiplatelet that prevents platelets from sticking together, reducing the risk of clots.
  Together, they provide dual protection against cholesterol buildup and blood clot formation.

Dosage:
Take the capsule exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily, with or without food.

How to Use:
Swallow the capsule whole with water. Take it at the same time every day for consistent effect.

Precautions:

• Avoid use if you have active bleeding, liver disease, or allergy to atorvastatin or clopidogrel

• Use cautiously in patients with kidney disease or bleeding disorders

• Do not stop taking the medicine abruptly without medical advice

• Regular monitoring of liver function, cholesterol levels, and platelet function is recommended

Side Effects:
Common side effects include stomach upset, headache, dizziness, muscle pain, or mild bleeding/bruising. Rarely, serious side effects like liver problems, severe muscle pain, or serious bleeding may occur. Seek medical attention if severe.
