Description

Covatil CV 500 Tablet is a broad-spectrum antibiotic containing Cefuroxime 500mg, a second-generation cephalosporin, and Clavulanic Acid 125mg, a beta-lactamase inhibitor. Clavulanic acid enhances the effectiveness of cefuroxime by preventing bacterial resistance. This combination is used to treat moderate to severe bacterial infections caused by susceptible organisms.

Uses of Covatil CV 500 Tablet

• Respiratory tract infections

• Ear, nose, and throat infections

• Urinary tract infections

• Skin and soft tissue infections

• Dental and other bacterial infections (as prescribed)

Dosage & Administration

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor

• Preferably take with food to reduce stomach upset

• Swallow the tablet whole with water

• Complete the full course of treatment

• Nausea or vomiting

• Diarrhea

• Abdominal pain

• Skin rash or itching

• Headache

Precautions & Warnings

• Inform your doctor if you are allergic to cephalosporins, penicillins, or beta-lactam antibiotics
