How Cadomer Ointment Works

Cadexomer Iodine is an antimicrobial wound-care agent. It slowly releases iodine when it comes into contact with wound fluid, helping reduce microorganisms present in the wound.

The cadexomer component also absorbs excess fluid from the wound, helping keep the wound environment cleaner.

How to Apply

Use Cadomer Ointment exactly as directed by your doctor or wound-care professional.

• Clean the wound as instructed.
• Apply the recommended amount to the affected area.
• Cover with an appropriate sterile dressing if advised.
• Change the dressing according to your healthcare professional’s instructions.
• Wash your hands before and after application.
• Do not apply to healthy skin unnecessarily.
• Do not use more frequently or for longer than recommended.
