Description

NOVACLAV 625 Tablet is a combination antibiotic manufactured by Cipla Ltd., containing Amoxicillin 500 mg and Potassium Clavulanate 125 mg. This combination enhances the effectiveness of Amoxicillin against beta-lactamase producing bacteria, which may otherwise resist standard penicillin therapy.

• Amoxicillin works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, killing susceptible bacteria.

• Potassium Clavulanate inhibits beta-lactamase enzymes, protecting Amoxicillin from degradation and extending its antibacterial activity.

This combination provides broad-spectrum coverage for respiratory, urinary, skin, and other bacterial infections.
