Description
Ketocip 1% Shampoo is a medicated antifungal shampoo manufactured by Cipla Ltd. It contains Ketoconazole 1%, a broad-spectrum antifungal agent used mainly to treat dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis, and pityriasis versicolor (fungal skin infection).
Ketoconazole works by inhibiting the growth of fungi and yeast, including Malassezia species, which are the primary cause of dandruff and flaking. By reducing fungal overgrowth, the shampoo helps relieve itching, scaling, and flaking of the scalp, restoring scalp health.
