Description

Febutec 80 Tablet is a prescription medicine manufactured by Cipla Ltd, containing Febuxostat (80mg) as its active ingredient. It is widely used for the long-term management of gout and other conditions associated with high uric acid levels (hyperuricemia).

How it Works:
Febuxostat is a xanthine oxidase inhibitor. It reduces uric acid production in the body by blocking the enzyme responsible for its formation. Elevated uric acid levels can lead to the accumulation of crystals in the joints and kidneys, causing painful gout attacks, joint swelling, stiffness, and uric acid kidney stones. By lowering and maintaining uric acid levels, Febutec 80 prevents these complications and improves joint health.
