Description
Telgard-M 50 Tablet, manufactured by Cipla Ltd., is a combination antihypertensive medicine that provides effective control of high blood pressure (hypertension) and reduces risks of heart-related complications.
It combines two proven agents:
-
Telmisartan (40mg): An angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that prevents blood vessels from tightening, helping them relax and widen. This lowers blood pressure and improves circulation.
-
Metoprolol Succinate (50mg): A beta-blocker that decreases heart rate, reduces the heart’s oxygen demand, and lowers cardiac workload.
This dual action makes Telgard-M 50 suitable for patients who require stronger therapy when single medications are insufficient.
