Description

Esgipyrin 50mg/325mg Tablet is a combination medicine containing Diclofenac (a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug – NSAID) and Paracetamol (an analgesic and antipyretic). This dual-action formula provides effective relief from pain, inflammation, and fever. It is commonly prescribed in conditions where single-drug therapy is insufficient.

Diclofenac reduces pain and inflammation by blocking prostaglandins, while Paracetamol lowers fever and enhances pain relief. Together, they offer faster and longer-lasting relief compared to individual drugs.

Uses of Esgipyrin Tablet

  • Relief of headache, toothache, and back pain

  • Management of musculoskeletal pain (strains, sprains, sports injuries)

  • Symptomatic relief in arthritis, spondylitis, and joint pain

  • Reduction of post-surgical or post-traumatic pain

  • Relief from fever associated with pain or inflammation

How it Works

  • Diclofenac (50mg): Inhibits the enzyme cyclooxygenase (COX), reducing prostaglandin synthesis responsible for inflammation, pain, and swelling.

  • Paracetamol (325mg): Acts mainly on the brain’s pain and temperature control centers, providing analgesic and antipyretic action.

The combination offers synergistic effects—better pain control and reduced dosage requirement of each individual medicine.

  • Take exactly as prescribed by your physician.

  • Usually taken 1–2 times daily after food to minimize stomach irritation.
