Description
FBX 40 Tablet contains Febuxostat (40mg), a medicine used to treat gout and conditions associated with high uric acid levels (hyperuricemia).

Febuxostat belongs to a class of drugs called xanthine oxidase inhibitors.

It works by blocking the enzyme xanthine oxidase, which is responsible for producing uric acid in the body.

By lowering uric acid levels, it helps prevent gout attacks, joint inflammation, kidney stones, and long-term damage to joints.

Treatment of gout (painful joint inflammation due to uric acid crystals)

Precautions

Dosage & Administration

Usual dose: One tablet daily, or as prescribed.

Continue taking regularly even if you feel well, as stopping suddenly may raise uric acid levels.
