Description
Alsartan-H Tablet is a combination medicine used for the treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension). It contains:
-
Losartan – an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels and lowers blood pressure.
-
Hydrochlorothiazide – a thiazide diuretic (water pill) that removes excess salt and water from the body, helping to control blood pressure and reduce swelling.
This dual action makes Alsartan-H particularly effective in patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled by a single medication.
