Description
Cefadrox-CV 500/125 Tablet is a combination antibiotic that contains:
-
Cefadroxil (500mg) – a first-generation cephalosporin that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis.
-
Clavulanic Acid (125mg) – a beta-lactamase inhibitor that prevents certain bacteria from inactivating cefadroxil, thereby enhancing its effectiveness.
This combination is used to treat moderate to severe bacterial infections, including those caused by beta-lactamase-producing strains resistant to cefadroxil alone.
