Description
Pantop Injection contains Pantoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI), used to reduce gastric acid secretion in patients who cannot take oral medications or require rapid acid suppression. This formulation is NPPA regulated and typically used in hospital settings for conditions like severe GERD, erosive esophagitis, or Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.

How It Works
Pantoprazole inhibits proton pumps (H⁺/K⁺-ATPase) in the stomach lining, reducing gastric acid production. This promotes healing of ulcers, prevents acid-related damage, and relieves symptoms.
