Description

DAPZIGARD-GM 2 Tablet is a triple-combination oral antidiabetic for adults with type 2 diabetes, aimed at patients needing robust blood sugar control when dual therapy or other combinations are insufficient.

Uses / Indications

• Type 2 diabetes mellitus: For improved glycemic control in adults inadequately managed with fewer agents.

• Offers comprehensive glucose lowering—reduces fasting, post-meal, and overall blood sugar, risk of diabetes complications (kidney, eye, nerve, and heart disease).

How it Works / Key Benefits

• Dapagliflozin: Promotes urinary glucose excretion by inhibiting SGLT2 in the kidney, lowering blood sugar, also benefits cardiovascular and renal health.

• Glimepiride: Stimulates pancreatic insulin release and improves insulin action, further reducing glucose after meals.

• Metformin: Reduces hepatic glucose output, increases insulin sensitivity, and slows gut glucose absorption, supporting long-term sugar control.

Dosage & Administration
