Description
Telmaxx 50 Tablet ER is a dual combination medicine used for the treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension) and associated heart conditions. It contains:
-
Telmisartan (40mg) – an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes and widens blood vessels, improving blood flow.
-
Metoprolol Succinate (50mg) – a beta-blocker that lowers heart rate, decreases workload on the heart, and helps control blood pressure.
This extended-release (ER) formulation provides a long-lasting effect, ensuring stable blood pressure control throughout the day. It helps reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, kidney damage, and heart failure.
