Invokana 100mg Tablet contains Canagliflozin (100mg), a medicine from the class of SGLT2 inhibitors (Sodium-Glucose Cotransporter-2 inhibitors). It works by helping the kidneys remove excess sugar (glucose) from the body through urine, thereby lowering blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Uses / Indications:

  • Management of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (along with diet and exercise)

  • Helps improve glycemic control in adults

  • Reduces the risk of heart attack, stroke, and cardiovascular death in diabetic patients with heart disease

  • Provides benefits in certain cases of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and heart failure (as per updated guidelines)
