Description

Covatil 250 Tablet contains Cefuroxime, a second-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It works by interfering with bacterial cell wall synthesis, ultimately leading to bacterial death. It is effective against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria and is commonly prescribed when first-line antibiotics are ineffective or not suitable.

Uses / Indications:

Respiratory tract infections: pharyngitis, tonsillitis, sinusitis, bronchitis, pneumonia
Ear, nose, and throat infections (including otitis media)
Skin and soft tissue infections
Urinary tract infections (UTIs)
Gonorrhea and other bacterial infections sensitive to cefuroxime
