Uses

Shingles (herpes zoster): Treatment and management of painful skin rash and blisters.
Chickenpox (varicella): Treatment in adults and children, especially those at high risk for complications.
Severe genital herpes: Treatment of initial episodes or recurrent outbreaks, particularly in immunocompromised patients.
Herpes simplex encephalitis: Brain infection caused by herpes virus (usually requires IV therapy).
Cold sores (herpes labialis): Severe or frequent episodes.

Dosage Guidelines

Shingles: 800 mg five times daily for 7-10 days.
Chickenpox: 800 mg four times daily for 5 days (adults and children over 40 kg).

How HERPIFORD-800 Works
