Description

Olmesar CH 20 Tablet is a combination antihypertensive medicine containing Olmesartan Medoxomil (20mg) and Chlorthalidone (12.5mg). It is used for the treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension), particularly in patients who benefit from both angiotensin II receptor blockade and diuretic therapy.

• Olmesartan Medoxomil relaxes blood vessels by blocking angiotensin II receptors, lowering blood pressure.

• Chlorthalidone is a thiazide-like diuretic that helps reduce excess fluid and sodium, aiding in blood pressure reduction.

This combination provides enhanced blood pressure control and helps reduce the risk of cardiovascular events such as heart attack, stroke, and kidney damage.
