Description

Olmesar CH 40 Tablet is a combination antihypertensive medicine containing Olmesartan Medoxomil (40mg) and Chlorthalidone (12.5mg). It is used for the treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension) in patients who require both angiotensin II receptor blockade and diuretic therapy for better blood pressure control.

• Olmesartan Medoxomil relaxes blood vessels by blocking angiotensin II receptors, reducing blood pressure.

• Chlorthalidone is a thiazide-like diuretic that helps eliminate excess sodium and water from the body, assisting in blood pressure reduction.

This combination helps achieve enhanced blood pressure control and lowers the risk of cardiovascular events such as stroke, heart attack, and kidney complications.
