Polyclav-DS Tablet DT

Description

Polyclav-DS Tablet DT is a fast-dissolving, broad-spectrum antibiotic containing Amoxycillin (400mg) and Clavulanic Acid (57mg). Amoxycillin works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, while Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor, enhancing the effectiveness of amoxycillin against resistant bacteria.

The DT (dispersible tablet) formulation allows the tablet to dissolve quickly in water, making it easier to swallow and suitable for children or adults who have difficulty taking conventional tablets. Polyclav-DS Tablet DT is effective against a wide range of bacterial infections, including respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, ENT infections, and skin or soft tissue infections, especially those caused by beta-lactamase producing bacteria.

Common Uses:

• Respiratory tract infections (bronchitis, pneumonia)

• Ear, nose, and throat infections (otitis media, sinusitis, pharyngitis)

• Urinary tract infections

• Skin and soft tissue infections

• Infections caused by beta-lactamase producing bacteria

• Can be taken with or without food.

• Disperse in water before administration for easier intake.
