METADON 100 XL is a prolonged-release beta-blocker tablet provided in Alu-Alu blister packs. Each tablet delivers Metoprolol Succinate 95 mg (equivalent to Metoprolol Tartrate 100 mg), designed for round-the-clock management of hypertension, angina, cardiac arrhythmias, and migraine prevention.

How it Works

Metoprolol is a selective beta-1 adrenergic receptor antagonist, decreasing heart rate, cardiac output, and blood pressure. It works by blocking the effects of stress hormones, reducing oxygen demand on the heart and improving cardiac efficiency.
