Acivir 800 DT Tablet

Description

Uses:

• Treats severe herpes infections

• Used for shingles (Herpes Zoster)

• Helps reduce pain, burning, and blister formation

• Speeds up healing and prevents complications

Dosage:

• Take exactly as prescribed by the doctor

• Common dose: 800mg 5 times daily (doctor may adjust)

• Kidney patients may require lower dosage

How to use:

• DT (dispersible tablet): dissolve in water or swallow directly

• Take after food with plenty of water

• Keep regular intervals between doses

• Do not skip doses; complete the full course

Precautions:

• Inform doctor if you have kidney disease

• Drink lots of water to prevent kidney issues

• Use cautiously in elderly patients

• Avoid during pregnancy/breastfeeding unless advised

• Avoid driving if you feel dizzy or tired

Side effects:

• Nausea, vomiting

• Headache, dizziness

• Abdominal discomfort

• Fatigue

• Rare: kidney problems (especially with dehydration)
