Dosage:

Usual dose: 40mg once daily

Doctor may adjust based on BP control

Do not stop the medicine suddenly
How to use:

Take at the same time each day

Swallow with water; can be taken with or without food

Continue even if BP feels normal

Monitor BP regularly
Precautions:

Avoid during pregnancy — Telmisartan is unsafe

Inform doctor if you have kidney or liver disease

May cause dizziness — avoid driving initially

Avoid alcohol as it can further lower BP

Monitor potassium levels if advised
