Arbitel-AV Tablet

Description

Uses:

• Helps control high blood pressure

• Reduces bad cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides

• Increases good cholesterol (HDL)

• Lowers risk of heart attack, stroke, and heart-related complications

• Telmisartan relaxes blood vessels

• Atorvastatin reduces cholesterol production in the liver

Dosage:

• Usually one tablet daily, or as directed by your doctor

• Cholesterol and BP monitoring may be required regularly

How to use:

• Swallow whole with water

• Take at the same time every day

• Can be taken with or without food

• Continue the medicine even if BP or cholesterol improves

Precautions:

• Avoid in pregnancy and breastfeeding

• Use cautiously if you have liver disease, kidney issues, or muscle disorders

• Avoid alcohol (increases liver-related side effects)

• Inform doctor if you experience muscle pain or weakness

• Regular liver function tests may be advised

Side effects:

• Headache or dizziness

• Muscle pain or weakness

• Stomach discomfort

• Low blood pressure

• Fatigue

• Increased liver enzymes (rare)

• Allergic reactions (rare)
